As Senior Lecturer in Cultural Management and Production at Falmouth University, I had the pleasure of observing and evaluating Jessica’s contribution to the ‘Collaborative Planning Event’, which formed part of the assessed work for her BA (Hons) Creative Events Management programme. I could highlight a number of positives but perhaps the most notable point to mention would be Jessica’s passion and strong appreciation of the sustainability issues surrounding the events sector and the need to proactively manage the impact of events on the environment.

I have had the pleasure of working alongside Jess on many occasions, both socially and in professional circumstances. Working on similar and shared projects I have connected with Jess on a personal level and I’m always excited to learn her opinions and views. She has always demonstrated a high level of professionalism and has used her incredible imagination and creativity within all of her work as an event manager. Jess has a magnetic, bubbly personality which makes her easily likeable as well as having a charming charisma to match. During our first big event in second year, Speakeasy, Jess was an incredibly reliable team member and I was able to express any feelings and thoughts, positive or negative, to her and she was able to help me with any problems I faced during the event process. I would definitely work with Jess again without hesitation, she’s always displayed amazing leadership skills as well as also being a good listener and contributor towards ideas.
